Khuzama Village

Khuzama, an Angami village on the road between Kohima and Kigwema, is known for its terraced rice fields and as a common stopping point for travellers heading toward Dzukou Valley or Kisama, given its position directly on this well-travelled route. The village's agricultural terracing offers a scenic roadside stop, particularly striking during the growing season when the paddy fields turn a vivid green.

While not typically a standalone destination, Khuzama's position along one of Nagaland's most-travelled tourist routes means most visitors exploring the wider Kohima-Dzukou-Kisama circuit pass through or near the village, making its terraced fields a familiar and appreciated part of the broader regional landscape.
