Vantawng Falls is the highest and one of the most spectacular waterfalls in Mizoram, located near Thenzawl in the Serchhip district. Surrounded by dense tropical forests and rolling green hills, the waterfall drops from a height of around 229 metres (751 feet), creating a breathtaking natural spectacle. The falls are formed by the Vanva River and are known for their scenic beauty, peaceful surroundings, and untouched natural environment. Due to the thick forests surrounding the waterfall, it can only be viewed from a specially constructed viewpoint, which offers a stunning panoramic view of the cascading waters.
