Tamia

Tamia, a small, relatively undiscovered hill destination in the Satpura range near Pachmarhi, offers dense sal forest, waterfalls and a noticeably quieter, more rural atmosphere than Madhya Pradesh's more established hill station. Patalkot, a horseshoe-shaped valley near Tamia inhabited by the Bharia and Gond tribal communities, adds a distinctive cultural and geological attraction, its dramatically isolated topography having given rise to numerous local legends.
