Bhongir Fort

Bhongir Fort, built atop a massive single monolithic granite rock rising dramatically from the surrounding plains, offers one of the most visually striking fort settings in Telangana, its egg-shaped rock formation visible from a considerable distance. The steep climb to the summit, following a winding path carved into the rock, rewards visitors with panoramic views over the surrounding countryside from the fort's ruined ramparts.
