Bougainvillea Garden

The Bougainvillea Garden showcases an extensive collection of bougainvillea varieties in a range of colours, trained into arches, hedges and standalone displays across a landscaped Sector 3 setting. Its vivid colour palette, especially during peak flowering, makes it a popular spot for casual photography and relaxed walks, with the plants trained into distinct forms rather than left to grow loosely.

Wide lawns surround the flowering displays, giving families and groups room to sit and relax rather than simply walk through, and the garden's relatively compact size makes it an easy, quick addition to a longer day exploring Chandigarh's sectors. Like several of the city's smaller themed gardens, it draws mainly local visitors and residents rather than large tourist crowds, offering an easy, unhurried stop for those exploring the city's network of green spaces at a gentler pace.

One of the later additions to Chandigarh's themed garden network, developed to further diversify the plant-specific gardens already established across the city's sectors, following the same template of dedicating individual gardens to individual plant families.
