Dudhni Lake

Dudhni Lake, on the Damanganga river near Silvassa, is a reservoir popular for boating, jet skiing and other water sports, framed by forested hills that give it a scenic, relatively unspoiled setting. Its calm waters and organised water-sports facilities make it a popular half-day outing for visitors based in Silvassa.

A network of walking trails around parts of the lake also appeals to visitors interested in a quieter nature walk rather than water activities, making Dudhni a flexible destination depending on how visitors want to spend their time. Boat rides across the reservoir offer good views of the surrounding hills, particularly attractive in the softer light of early morning.

Formed as part of the Damanganga irrigation project, the reservoir has since developed a significant secondary role as one of the region's most popular recreational water-sports destinations, drawing visitors from across the wider Silvassa and Vapi area.
