Haflong

Haflong is the only hill station in Assam and a scenic destination located in the Dima Hasao district of the state. Known as the "Switzerland of Assam," Haflong is famous for its rolling green hills, mist-covered valleys, crystal-clear lakes, and rich tribal culture. After India's independence, Haflong became part of Assam and later served as the administrative centre of the newly formed Dima Hasao district. Today, Haflong represents the natural beauty, cultural diversity, and historical traditions of Assam's hill region.
