Harihareshwar, a small pilgrimage and beach town on the Konkan coast, is centred on a temple dedicated jointly to Vishnu (Hari) and Shiva (Har), its coastal setting and relatively unspoiled beach giving it a quieter character than more commercially developed Konkan beach towns.
