The Hebbe Falls trek, beginning near Kemmangundi, leads through coffee estates and forest to a scenic multi-tiered waterfall, adding an active outdoor option for visitors staying in the area beyond simply enjoying the viewpoints and gardens.
History
Developed as a summer retreat under the patronage of the Wadiyar rulers of Mysore in the early 20th century, Kemmangundi's terraced Raj Bhavan gardens reflect this royal-era landscaping heritage.
