Tashi View Point, near Gangtok, offers one of the more accessible viewpoints for glimpsing Kanchenjunga and Siniolchu peaks without extensive travel from the capital, making it a popular sunrise stop for visitors based in Gangtok. On clear mornings, the view across the valley to the snow-capped Himalayan range provides one of the most rewarding easy excursions available from the state capital.
